About Sasco

‘SASCO@KHATIB and SASCO@COMPASSVALE are Senior Activity Centres (SACs) of SASCO Senior Citizens’ Home. At our SACs, we primarily serve the seniors staying at the studio apartment units but also open the doors to the public. The programmes we are offering to our seniors are baking programmes, exercises, crafts to encourage Life-long Learning, allowing seniors to age gracefully and stay relevant in the society. By keeping our seniors active in the community, we can prevent them from running the risk of isolation. By promoting Senior Volunteerism, we engage senior volunteers in our centre operations so as to give them a chance to contribute back to the community to affirm their Self-worth. We also support Multi-generation Bonding, allowing the younger generations to visit the centre and plan community activities and events.
