Since childhood I spent the whole day painting, cutting and pasting.

When I arrived in secondary school, I fell in love with art and painting even more. I regularly read many Taiwanese art magazines, art history and painting theory. Everything was learned through self-exploration. During this period, I occasionally participated in some public painting exhibitions to measure my own painting level. Later, because of the convenience of work, I came into contact with more books on painting and art which expanded my art horizon. For a time, I always worried about this and that when I was painting, which caused my half-knowledge of painting theory to stumble and stagnate.

After learning and realising my art knowledge was not enough, when I was 60 years old, I ruined all these unskilled paintings without leaving any behind.

However, the original intention of pursuing the art of painting was not lost, and I told myself that I must let go and set off again.

The exploration of painting has also kept me curious and playful.

打从童年开始，一整天都是在涂涂画画，剪剪贴贴中渡过。

到了中学，爱上艺术绘画创作的心更甚，定期阅读了好多台湾的美术杂志，美术史和绘画理论等，一切都是在自我摸索中学习，这期间偶尔也参加一些画会公开给非会员参展，来验证自己的绘画水平。之后因为工作上的方便，接触了更多的绘画艺术的书籍，扩大了艺术视野，一时间，绘画时总是顾虑这个，顾忌那个，让一知半解的绘画理论给绊倒而停滞不前。

学然后而知不足，在我60岁的时候，一气之下，将所有这些不成才的画作全部一件不留的毁了。

但追求绘画艺术的初心未泯，告诉自己一定要放下归零，重新出发。

绘画艺术的探索，也让我一直保持着一个好奇好玩的顽童之心。
