Art learning can be so easy
Eye. Mind. Hand.
Learning art is not simply about copying a picture or following an instructor. We develop the connection between your Eye, Mind and Hand.
Eye: observe
Slow down and notice shape, proportion, colour, light, space and the details we often overlook.
Mind: understand and interpret
Learn to understand what you see. Simplify complicated subjects, make choices, solve visual problems and develop your own artistic thinking.
Hand: express
Build the practical skills and confidence to translate what you observe and think into lines, colours, forms and paintings.
Our goal isn't just to help you finish a painting. It's to help you become a more confident, independent learner of art.

A note for beginners
“But I can't draw.”
You don’t need to be good before you begin. You begin so that you can learn.
Art isn't reserved for the naturally talented.
You don’t need to know how to draw or paint before joining. With observation, understanding, practice and appropriate guidance, unfamiliar skills can gradually become familiar.
More than learning techniques.
As you learn, you may begin to notice the way light falls across an ordinary object, the relationships between colours and shapes, and the small details around you. Over time, the aim is to move from simply following instructions to expressing your own ideas.
